Under the patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, and with the presence of H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, as well as H.E. Mr. Fayadh Hassan Nema, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Energy Affairs, the Iraq Petroleum Industry Workshop (IPIW 2025) officially opened at the Babylon Rotana Hotel – Baghdad.
Organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – Central Iraq Section, and supported by the Ministry of Oil, the event gathered distinguished leaders and experts from Iraq and abroad to discuss modern innovations and solutions to future energy challenges.
With the participation of around 90 national and international companies as sponsors, presenters, and participants, the workshop highlighted Iraq’s pioneering role in advancing the oil and gas industry and promoting collaboration toward a sustainable energy future.
Sincere appreciation to all supporting and sponsoring organizations whose efforts made this event a success at the highest technical and organizational level.
