This workshop is technically organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Central Iraq Section\, in collaboration with Iraq’s Ministry of Oil\, affiliated entities\, and prominent Independent oil companies (IOCs) and service providers operating inside and outside Iraq. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nA SPECIALIZED WORKSHOP\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesigned to be a critical platform\, uniting decision-makers from Iraqi authorities\, operators\, service providers\, subject matter experts\, researchers\, and prospective investors. It will address the technical\, environmental\, and economic challenges tied to field development and production operations in Iraq\, while paving the way for innovative solutions and collaborative opportunities. Throughout his distinguished career\, he has held several high-level technical and administrative positions across affiliated companies and directorates within the Ministry of Oil. His leadership roles have included serving as Director General (DG) of the South Oil Company\, DG of the Studies\, Planning\, and Follow-up Directorate\, and DG of the Technical Directorate. He progressed in positions and served as Deputy Minister of Oil for Downstream Affairs and later as Senior Deputy Minister for Upstream Affairs.
