The Iraq Petroleum Industry Workshop (IPIW 2025) is held under the esteemed patronage and in the presence of His Excellency, Prime Minister of Iraq, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and with the official support of the Ministry of Oil, and the attendance of His Excellency, Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs—Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdulghani Alsawad.
This landmark event reflects Iraq’s commitment to strengthening its position in the global oil and gas sector and creating platforms for knowledge exchange and technological advancement.
High-Level Coordination Meeting
On May 6, 2025, the first joint meeting of the IPIW organizing committees was held, gathering senior officials from the Ministry of Oil, distinguished Iraqi experts from across the globe and SPE Central Iraq Section Senior Management. The meeting laid the groundwork for delivering a world-class event that addresses global energy challenges and opportunities.
